Cowboy Steak and Potato Hash

Ingredients:

  • Good Ranchers Top Sirloin Steaks
  • Kinder’s Cowboy Butter
  • 4 Russet Potatoes, Cubed (Sweet Potatoes are also good for this!)
  • 1 Large Yellow Onion, Diced
  • 2 Bell Peppers, Diced (Red, Yellow, or Orange)
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • ½ Tsp. Salt
  • ½ Tsp. Black Pepper
  • ½ Tsp. Garlic Powder

 

Grilling Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to 400 °F
  2. Thaw steaks to room temperature, season with Kinder’s Cowboy Butter.
  3. Grill 5 to 6 minutes on each side for medium to medium rare, thickness varies.

 

Hash Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F. Combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder and whisk
  2. After dicing the potatoes, transfer into a bowl, pour olive oil mixture, and toss until well coated
  3. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes
  4. Remove from oven, toss using a spatula, and bake another 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are soft and golden brown.

 

*This recipe is paired best with seasoned asparagus and carrots, or wilted spinach.
